Wild Turkey in Mushroom Sauce
6 cups wild turkey breast
(cubed into 1 inch pieces)
2 tablespoons butter
2 cans cream of mushroom soup
(10 ounces each)
1 cup of sour cream
16 ounces of fresh white mushrooms (sliced)
1/4 cup chicken broth
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon season salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
In a large skillet, melt butter, when butter is melted add the 6 cups of cubed wild turkey, stir occasionally, then while turkey is browning, in a large
bowl add mushroom soup, sour cream, sliced white mushrooms, chicken broth, garlic powder, season salt and pepper, take wooden spoon and mix well until all is mixed in, after wild turkey has
cooked for about 20 minutes add mushroom sauce to skillet. bring to a boil then let simmer for about 15 minutes. Serve over noodles or rice.
